Junior Golf
For the first summer in a few years, Tanglewood will be offering a junior golf program.Rich Carr will be doing all of the instruction along with surprise guests throughout the summer.Rich was the driving force behind the revitalization of the junior program at Meadia Heights Golf Club.In his four years there, Rich built what was regarded as the best junior program in the region and perhaps the state.The juniors and parents will meet at our practice center starting Tuesday, June 10th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.We will meet each Tuesday at 5:30 pm until the end of July.All ages are welcome, but Rich has found that children 6 and above are ready to learn the game.
Most junior clinics and programs focus on teaching boring swing techniques to the children, that will not be the focus at Tanglewood.Rich will keep the technical jargon to a minimum and communicate basic FUNdamentals to the juniors. He will also teach parents how to teach their child the game of golf.For this reason, parents will be strongly encouraged to attend.The cost of each session will be $5 per child OR you can pay all inclusive rate of $30.The all inclusive rate entitles your child to all 9 sessions.If you have any questions please feel free to contact Rich at 717-786-5054 or email richcarr1@comcast.net
